NodeJS SDKs Now Have Retries

Release DateJan 31, 2017
Change Type
Platforms Affected

Node JS SDKs now come with retries for requests. We allow retries for the following cases:

  • GET requests only.
  • General connection errors.
  • Timeout errors.
  • DNS address resolution failure errors.

Re-generate your Node JS SDKs now to get this new feature.

To use retry feature in your SDK, you will need to specify the amount of Retries in your API Description to be more than 0. The Retries flag is available in CodegenSettings of the API Description (for APIMatic format)

Note   Retries are not supported for errors like client response errors, server response errors etc.
